Redefining the Family Vacation
Day three, we went on an escapade with Capt. Andy, on whose catamaran we sailed up the amazing Na Pali Coast - accompanied by playful dolphins who kept pace as we explored "secret" places not accessible by ordinary transport.
At our destination far up the coast we suited up to snorkel a profusion of brilliantly colored marine life in protected blue water bejeweled with coral. We emerged exhilarated (and hungry) to find that the crew had spread a wonderful deli-style lunch on the boat - the pampering was relentless!
Andy finished this outing with a silken flourish, easing us into harbor by sail alone. The ride was smooth as glass. And Forrest and I lay back gazing at the sky made all the more breathtaking by the colorful sails unfurled all around us.
