“We did the Sail and Snorkel Tour of the Na Pali coast with Capt. Andy. It was nothing short of a fantastic experience. The catamaran was roomy and provided a variety of seating options including the upfront trampolines for thrill seekers. Crewed by Capt. Bernard, Hans, and Christina, we encountered professionalism, caring, and service above and beyond the ordinary while they kept everyone laughing. From launch to docking, they were there to ensure all were having a great time and see to any needs.
The scenery was worth the price alone but we were escorted by spinner dolphins and sea turtles going to and from the snorkeling adventure. Capt. Andy's crew knew just the spot to go for a wonderful view of the sealife below the surface. This was the highlight of the trip. Anyone wanting to get it all combined in one place should go with Capt. Andy for their sail and snorkel tour of the Na Pali coast."

“We were on the morning July 4th trip with Capt. Trent, Sterling and Cody. It was fantastic, and I can truly say that your slogan "Nobody has more fun" is true. The kids especially enjoyed riding the trampoline and bouncing their way back to the dock. When we got back to our hotel we met a family that was on another trip (Blue Dolphin) that morning and didn't have as much fun. Their kids were so jealous of the trampoline. My daughter is still talking about the trip. Capt. Trent, Sterling and Cody were fantastic as our guides and they really made everyone comfortable and happy. Thanks, we recommend Capt. “Don and I have been coming to Kauai every year for about 15 years now. We also take my mom with us, she is 87 this year. A sail with Captain Andy is always on the list for the three of us. Everything and everyone is superb. Sure, we've tried some of the others in addition to Captain Andy's and it just reaffirms that, for us, Captain Andy's is the best! The wider catamarans lessen the amount of folks being seasick, the crew is marvelous, so helpful and if anyone has children, they are especially cared for on the sail, usually getting to captain the ship for a bit. If you are looking for a romantic outing for two or a good family trip, Captain Andy's should be at the top of your list."
“We went with Capt. Andy's sail/snorkel trip in Feb. 2010 and it was great. The weather did not allow us to go up the west coast but we had a great time any way and we will be doing it again. The skipper and crew were the best a person could ask for. As a sailer myself I challenged the skipper if he could sail the boat wing on wing (as a joke) and lo and behold he did!! Great time, food and sites.

“Captain Ken, Hans and Justin made our 5.5 hour snorkel/sunset/dinner cruise fantastic! They really went out of their way to see to everyone’s needs. My new husband ended up getting a little seasick right away – which is ironic being from Minnesota, the land of 10,000 lakes, he’s used to waves! Justin made sure he had plenty of crackers and Sierra Mist – which cured him. We’ll be back in a few years and will definitely go sailing with you guys again!"
“We booked the Napali Snorkle tour on May 31, 2009. We really had a great time. My wife and I and our 8 and 2 year old daughters. We travelled with our friends who also had their 8 and 2 year old daughters with them. We looked at other snorkle/coast tours and thought this one would be the best. Larger boats and more shade if you need it. We left at around 7:30 in the morning and couldn't have picked a better time to go. Chance, Andy and Matt were our Captains and the manager Dave was along for the ride. They were all very friendly, informative and attentive to our needs. We were a little worried about taking our 2 year old along but they helped to make sure they were comfortable at all times. I am glad they didnt have to miss out. The sights were great along the Napali Coast. We saw several school of Dolphins and some turtles. Saw a lot of fish on the snorkle break. They even have a little boogie board for the kids with a built in scuba mask so they can look under water at the fish like the rest of us. The meals were good. Continental breakfast and a good deli spread for lunch. Plenty of water and pop throughout the trip and then beer and wine for lunch and the sail back to port. We saw some of the other tour boats along our trip that we had also considered taking and were so glad that we were on this tour instead of cramped into a smaller boat without any shade. Thanks again to Chance, Andy, Matt and everyone at Captain Andy's for making it a great trip. We strongly reccomend the tour and will definitely do it again next time."
“Carol and I would be remiss if we did not drop a note letting you know how much fun and aloha we had on our sail Aug 9 with Captain Ken and his crew. A person has not experienced the depth of beauty of Kauai until they see it from the makai side. While the sunset was beautiful, the sail up to that point was even prettier. The way the green and blue shades of the Pacific Ocean sets its spray off against the purple, red, orange and yellow is unforgettable. When the colors are not in view the ocean sets its spray on the black and brown volcanic cliffs that flatten into a sea of green grass and trees. Pupu's were ono!
Our experience has caused us to schedule the Napali dinner cruise. Cannot wait. Mahalo for this experience to view Kauai. Unforgettable!!"“My wife and I signed up for the Na Pali / Snorkling trip. We were impressed with how prompt the crew was, they leave "on time". We know people are on vacation...but so is everyone else that arrived on time. We liked that. The skipper and crew were very helpful, they anticipate your questions and are courteous. (I've gone on deep sea fishing expeditions out of Maine before...trust me, those folks are mighty "crusty" at times.) The Capt Andy folks were very personable to both young and old(er).
We were not able to complete our trip to see Na Pali or even snorkle due to really bad ocean conditions...but we had a few sightings of whales and dolphins, and a heck of a fun ride back. Well, we only got 1 of the three things we had wanted, but no arguements...the Capt. Andy staff completely refunded our money. We had the option to reschedule, but the ocean-weather forecast looked not-so-good for the rest of our stay, so we opted out until we return in a couple of years. We'll go back to Capt. Andy for another try for sure.
Another thing that caught my attention was how attentive the staff was. They watched passengers very closely...we were in rough water, you could be sure one of them was standing close by to make sure nobody got hurt or went overboard. And yet...we were out on the trampoline riding the waves and getting soaked. We also got some good tips from the crew...we were curious about finding the one black-sand beach on the island, we got directions, and since our tour came in early due to bad weather, we headed to the local sites. (which also happens to be near where Capt. Cook was killed...you'll have to hunt for the monument). : )
Bottom line: Absolutely, without hesitation, we would recommend Capt. Andy for your coastline trip."“My wife, our friends, and I went on the Napali Dinner Cruise. We had the time of our lives. Our boat was the first out of the harbor and the last back in. Although our tour was not as long as Gilligan’s it was longer than advertised. Captain Rick, Calvin and Courtney did a tremendous job. They watched over the crazy people (us) riding the waves on the bow of the boat. They waited on us including bringing drinks to us so we would not have to leave the bow. Somehow they still found time to take pictures for everyone and clean up after us. I would highly recommend Captain Andy’s to everyone.

The boat is comfortable and well maintained. The views are incredible. Capt. Trent was great. The snorkeling was a little light on wildlife. But, while sailing we saw a large school of spinner dolphin, whales, and the incredible coast line. This tour is fantastic with or without the snorkeling. I would recommend this to anyone."

I wish I could have eaten more of it, but that would have been a bad idea due to the rough surf LOL. We will recommend this tour to all our friends."
